Gordon Pelosse is an accomplished IT Executive and Technologist with over 45 years of experience in management, global support, and general management roles. He leverages a proven track record of driving top-line and bottom-line growth for technology organizations of all sizes. Previously, Gordon served as the VP Global Support for Central US and Global Support Country Manager for Canada at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). In this role, he managed a significant P&L and led teams across the US, Latin America, and Canada. In 2014 Gordon won the HP Global Technology Services Award for Outstanding Customer Service and Quality. His extensive background also includes senior leadership positions with companies such as Compaq Computer Corporation, AT&T, and Texas Instruments. A recognized industry leader, Gordon was the Past Chairman of the Board of CompTIA, where he served as a board member from 2013 to 2021. He also previously chaired the Canadian Services Executive Council. Coming out of retirement to address the growing need for a skilled AI workforce, Gordon joined AI CERTs as Executive Vice President of Partnerships and Enterprise Strategy. He now leads the AI CERTs Business Advisory Board, which is composed of C-level leaders from diverse sectors including education, healthcare, and law, to drive the adoption of vendor-agnostic, job-role-based AI certifications globally. Outside of his professional life, Gordon is a dedicated family man whose wife is a retired IT executive and whose son works as a Director at a leading Canadian cybersecurity organization. He is committed to advocating for skills-based hiring to unlock the potential in the millions of unemployed and underemployed individuals.
