Dr. Theofanis Giotis is a Project, Program and Portfolio Management expert, CEO of 12PM Consulting and Partner at VALENSE. Since 1987, he has delivered professional services across ICT, telecoms, construction, pharma, banking, shipping, food, retail, media and training. He has 35+ years of experience in CEO, senior management, PMO, project, program and portfolio management roles. He has contributed to 500+ projects in the EMEA region, including Greece’s first major PMO implementation for OTE. He is a university professor in Project Management, MBA and MSc programs in multiple universities. He is Co-Founder and former President of PMI Greece Chapter, with long-standing volunteer leadership in PMI and Agile/Scrum communities. He has contributed to the development of 20+ PMI/ANSI, ISO and ELOT standards, including PMBOK, WBS, Portfolio Management and ISO TC 258 work. He holds an Honorary Doctorate, MSc in Operational Research, BA in Economics, CSAP and PhD candidate status in Project Management. Also he He holds 80+ professional certifications, including PMP, PfMP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, Disciplined Agile, PRINCE2, ITIL, Scrum and AI credentials. He is a PMI Authorized Training Partner Instructor and Certified Disciplined Agile Instructor, noted as first-person achievements in Greece. He is an author, trainer and international speaker, with 200+ articles/publications and 250+ professional presentations.
